In my previous experience with Physical Therapists, they never were able to alleviate or get to the cause of my injuries - it was always the same line "ice it" and "it takes time".
Craig has a unique ability not found in most physical therapists in that he can truly evaluate your issues from the moment you walk in the door.
Additionally, he understands that the actual injury at hand is usually a result of your body compensating for another issue. Craig has the ability to treat the real issue therefore relieving the problem in a quick and efficient way.
I have a high school senior applying to college and am renovating my house. Craig is my salvation. Once a week, I walk into IPT filled with stress and pain. I walk out pain-free and surrounded by Craig’s good karma
Craig performs his craft with a creative, hands-on approach. He is skilled and intelligent and has the experience to know what I need each time I walk in the door.
When I was in Oregon several winters ago, my back went out. It was freezing and snowing and I feared I would ruin my family’s vacation. I called Craig and he patiently talked me through a few exercises and stretches that got me on my feet again. It’s rare to find a therapist as caring and professional as Craig.
"Super amazing!!! Yuliet was crazy knowledgeable and made a world of difference both in my understanding of my arm weirdness and even more important in my anxiety over it! Yolanda is a doll! Kind, patient...sooo sweet! What an incredible team you have created in Hallandale!!! Thanks for checking in on me"
I never imagined what a beautiful journey could begin with an injury. My entire life I have suffered with hip and lower back pain. After having two children 20 months apart and a muscle injury during my second pregnancy I was in severe pain and unable to meet the physical requirements of each day as a mother with two young children. My pain grew worse and worse until I could not walk without assistance at the end of each day. I could not lift my right leg without severe pain. I visited several doctors all of whom said I had a hernia; the problem was they all felt my hernia in a different location. I was tremendously conflicted as to whether to have surgery to try to repair the problem and if so which spot was the spot to fix. I inquired about physical therapy and that is how I met Craig at Integrated Physical Therapy. Unable to exercise or lift my two young children I was completed depressed and out of shape. Craig assured me that he could help and that surgery should not be the first option. I was impressed with his knowledge of women’s health and even about the affects of pregnancy and breastfeeding on the body. Over the last several months I have become aware of the connectedness of my body. The increased awareness has enabled me to understand how to heal, to not focus on the outcome and to trust my own body’s ability to tell me what it needs. Through specific exercises I have began to strengthen the areas of weakness and heal the areas of injury. Craig has been with me every step of the way encouraging me when I lose focus and giving me the guidance to continue on this amazing journey. I am now able to spend the day with my children and not be completely crippled at the end of the day. I have a much higher understanding of what the body needs and respect what I need to do to maintain my physical health and emotional health. Thank you to Integrated Physical Therapy not only for “rehabilitating” me but for being a precious teacher that has taught such valuable lessons for the health of not just my body but my soul.
I first met Craig after seeing 5 neurosurgeons. The first four I saw all suggested that I should consider spinal fusion surgery, if I wanted to eliminate the pain I had been experiencing for so long.
After multiple MRI’s and other tests I was diagnosed with herniated discs at C-5, C-6 and C-7. After deciding surgery was not what I wanted I tried rigorous physical therapy for 5 months with temporary relief.
The pain had returned and I was then referred to a Physiatrist who suggested and injected Botox into the painful areas of my shoulders and neck. The injection worked initially and then the pain returned as it did before after several months. It was at this time I was referred to Craig for an “alternative” approach.
After seeing Craig for two weeks my pain was almost eliminated. After 6 months of Myofascial Release the results have been great and lasting.
Craig genuinely cares about the health and welfare of his patients. His technique is outside the mainstream of traditional physical therapy, but if you open your mind and let go, you too will get the results I have gotten.

After seeing a chiropractor for many years, I still had the same reoccurring problem with my hip and shoulder pain. While the chiropractor would help temporarily, the same problem of limited mobility and pain would come back. I was frustrated with my lack of ability to exercise and get back into shape after having a baby. Even one year after having a baby I could not exercise without pain and therefore could not get back to the level of exercise I was used to before.
I must admit I had always been skeptical about Physical Therapy. After much frustration, my Pilates instructor led me to see Craig. She said he is not your traditional therapist and uses an entirely different method of treatment. She said he could also help me with rehabilitative Pilates. Craig took one look at me and knew exactly what my problem was. I couldn’t believe how obvious it was to him when no one else could help me! Just after one treatment I was able to exercise and progress more each day. I continued to work with Craig doing Myofascial release treatments to remove all restrictions in my body. Through this treatment any scar tissue, muscle restriction or movement restriction, as well as emotion can be released. I can’t tell you how good I felt and how much lighter my body felt.
I was even more blessed to know Craig because about a year later I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After the lumpectomy surgery, I had very little movement in my arm and shoulder. I was also completely numb in one area from the incisions. Craig worked with me right after the surgery to restore movement in my shoulder and alleviate the buildup of scar tissue. Without this treatment, my recovery would have been much longer and I would not have the mobility I have today. Now my body is better than it has ever been because of my ability to move in a healthier way.
Unfortunately most doctors and people in general are not aware of the benefits of Myofascial release. I hope that my story helps spread the word to help more and more people. I can’t recommend Craig enough to all my friends and loved ones. He has helped so many of my family members and friends when no one else could. For this I will always be grateful to Craig for his care and professional knowledge.
Like others, you are searching for answers to your particular situation. Health practitioners may not have listened to you and their conventional therapies may not have provided you with satisfactory resolutions or options. You cannot be the only one feeling this way and there must be an answer somewhere, right?
Congratulations on listening to yourself and your inner wisdom. You have just arrived where you need to be. Now it’s time to listen to a new approach; to learn about your body and yourself; and to trust that Craig and Jay have the ability to guide you along this new journey of self-discovery. It’s time to reconnect your mind and body so they can function together – a simple concept that we have never been taught.
I know what it’s like to drag your body around everyday; to be in constant pain; to be afraid to move; to be overloaded with stress and anxiety. I was at the end of my rope physically and emotionally when I found Craig. He listened even when I did not speak. He suggested multiple approaches that included a variety of other practitioners. During every step along the way, my treatment plan has been my choice, my design.
This personal journey towards wellness has opened my eyes, my heart and has started to restore my joy for everyday living. Years of damage cannot melt away overnight and new physical challenges seem to occur nearly everyday, but thanks to Craig, I am now on the right path.
Now it’s time for you to begin your own healing story.
