Megan Stancill PT, DPT

Dr. Megan Stancill PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist specializing in Orthopedics and Pelvic Health. Megan received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Hunter College in Manhattan in 2018. 

Since graduating, she has completed advanced training in Pelvic Health with the Herman and Wallace Institute. Megan is a certified Yoga instructor as well as a Pilates mat and reformer instructor. She teaches at the Kripalu Institute of Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA in their advanced teacher training program for special populations. 

Megan is the author of “Megayoga” published by DK Books, the first yoga book of posture modification for plus size practitioners. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, she created and ran a yoga studio for many years in the flower district of Manhattan. 

Megan is passionate about educating her patients on their particular diagnosis, their anatomy and the “why” of how they move in their bodies. She believes that the journey of healing injury can be rich with insights into one’s body and ultimately lead to a better understanding of how to live a fully embodied life. 

Megan is originally from Maryland and loves hiking in the fall and eating crab cakes in the summer with her family. She is delighted to make southern Florida her home and enjoys days at the beach in the abundant sunshine.
