Your Foundation

Foot & Ankle Physical Therapy

Care that starts at your foundation.

Where Whole-Body Health Begins

Your feet are the foundation of everything you do, and when they stop moving well the effects travel up the entire chain. We treat the pain at its source and restore the alignment that keeps your knees, hips and back healthy. Care is hands-on and one-on-one at our North Miami clinic, in Aventura and in Wynwood.

Helps with:

Plantar fasciitis Ankle sprains Achilles pain Flat feet Gait & balance Post-surgical recovery

The foot and ankle are the base of your body's kinetic chain, so we assess how a problem down there is shaping everything above it before we rebuild strength from the ground up.

The patterns are consistent once you look for them. Flat feet or fallen arches rotate the shin inward and load the knees and hips. Limited ankle motion forces the low back and pelvis to compensate all day. Chronic ankle instability changes your gait, and uneven loading through one foot drives one-sided back pain.

That is why correcting foot and ankle mechanics so often relieves pain felt somewhere else entirely. Assessment covers your feet, your ankles, your gait and your posture, and treatment is manual: hands-on release, joint mobilization and progressive strengthening tailored to what the exam shows.

Because these problems rarely travel alone, foot and ankle care often runs alongside the John F. Barnes myofascial method, and we add MDT treatment when the low back is compensating. Your plan is mapped out through our self-pay therapy programs, so the goal and the price are clear from session one.

Our Ground-Up Approach

01

Comprehensive Assessment

We examine your feet, ankles, gait and posture together, because how you move tells us far more than a single sore spot.

02

Root-Cause Diagnosis

We identify the mechanical drivers behind the pain, tracing the problem up the chain to the knees, hips and back it may be feeding.

03

Hands-On Treatment

Manual therapy, joint mobilization and progressive strengthening restore motion and stability where the exam showed it was lost.

04

Lasting Prevention

Education, footwear guidance and a home program keep the gains in place so the same pattern does not rebuild once you leave.

GROUND-UP CARE

Why Miami Feet and Ankles Take a Beating

Miami keeps people on their feet year-round, and the caseload reflects it. Runners circling Biscayne Bay and grinding up the Rickenbacker log heavy mileage on hard pavement. Cyclists rolling back off the Venetian Causeway land ankle sprains that never quite settle. Downtown and Brickell professionals stand through long days in shoes that give nothing back, then wonder why the heel pain arrives every morning. Flat, unforgiving surfaces and constant training mean few people here rest an injury long enough to heal it. We plan around that rather than fight it, and shift clients to our Wynwood physical therapy clinic when the drive is shorter. Our therapists carry over 100 years of combined experience across the three locations.
