Private & Discreet

Pelvic Floor & SIJ Pain Therapy

Private, discreet care for men and women.

The Pelvic Floor and SI Joint

Pelvic floor and sacroiliac joint problems are common, treatable, and almost never discussed at dinner. That silence keeps people waiting years before asking anyone for help. Nicole Ramos holds post-doctoral training in Pelvic Health and Obstetrics, and she treats both men and women in a private treatment room with the door closed and her attention reserved entirely for you. Whether the issue is pelvic pain, leaking, SI joint pain, pregnancy or recovery after surgery, you will find our North Miami practice an easy place to talk about it.

Helps with:

Pelvic pain SI joint pain Incontinence Pregnancy & postpartum Post-prostatectomy Painful intercourse

The pelvic floor is a sling of muscle supporting the bladder, bowel and, in women, the uterus. It also anchors your core and coordinates with your breathing. When it becomes too tight, too weak, or poorly timed, symptoms show up in ways people rarely connect to muscle. Urgency, leaking, pain with sex, a heaviness low in the pelvis, or a low back that never quite settles.

For women, the common reasons to come in are pregnancy discomfort, postpartum recovery, abdominal separation, prolapse symptoms, painful intercourse and pain that persists long after childbirth. For men, it is frequently recovery after prostate surgery, chronic pelvic or tailbone pain, or urinary control that has not returned as expected.

Treatment begins with education, breathing and external work. Nothing internal happens without a clear explanation and your consent, and plenty of clients progress well with external techniques alone. Core control, hip strength and posture are trained alongside, because the pelvic floor never works by itself.

The sacroiliac joint sits where the base of the spine meets the pelvis, and it leans on those same core, hip and pelvic floor muscles for stability. When that support falters, the joint can turn painful on one side. The ache sits deep in the low back or buttock and flares when you stand on one leg, climb stairs or roll over in bed. Pregnancy, postpartum recovery and one-sided loading are frequent triggers, which is why we assess and treat the SI joint and pelvic floor together rather than in isolation.

Where persistent fascial tension is also driving symptoms, myofascial release for chronic pain supports the work. Clients who prefer to be treated at home can arrange in-home concierge physical therapy instead. Care is arranged through our wellness program pricing, so you can focus on getting better instead of on paperwork.

How Pelvic Floor Care Progresses Here

01

A Conversation First

We take a thorough history in private, explain the anatomy in plain language, and agree on what you are and are not comfortable with.

02

Assessment on Your Terms

Breathing, posture, hips and core are assessed externally. Any internal examination is optional, explained fully, and always your choice.

03

Restoring Coordination

Manual work, breathing retraining and targeted exercise teach the pelvic floor to relax and contract at the right moments.

04

Back to Full Activity

We rebuild lifting, running and daily loading so results hold up once you return to the gym, the road or your children.

PRIVATE PELVIC HEALTH

Discreet Pelvic Care Across Miami-Dade and Broward

Privacy is the reason many people finally book, and it is the reason many drive past closer clinics to reach us. Sessions are one-to-one in a closed room, with the same therapist every visit and no rotating faces. That continuity matters more in pelvic health than almost anywhere else in the profession. We treat new mothers from Aventura and Miami Shores, men recovering from prostate surgery across Miami-Dade and Broward, and plenty of runners and cyclists whose training loads have quietly overloaded the pelvic floor. Beach and boutique-fitness culture here means people want to return to activity fast, so we build that goal into the plan. Clients north of the county line often choose our Hallandale Beach clinic.
